Crowds gathered to celebrate the official unveiling of a veterans monument created by South Philly resident Frank Criniti at 2900 S. 18th St.
Criniti, a retired Army veteran, built the memorial across from his house to honor fellow veterans and the memorial was officially unveiled on Nov. 13 during a morning ceremony with VFW Post 8714 of Glendora, New Jersey, which included representatives from several branches of the military.
