GIANT donates meals to Philabundance

The GIANT Company donated 250 hams and 250 chickens to South Philly-based Philabundance on Dec. 7. GIANT team members also volunteered at the food bank to pack hunger relief boxes and organize and restock shelves in advance of the busy holiday season.

This year, a total of 3,000 hams and 1,150 chickens will be donated to 18 community food banks and food pantries. This builds on the company’s hunger efforts in November, donating more than 13,000 Thanksgiving turkeys and chickens to community partners combating food insecurity.
