Wells Fargo made a $50,000 donation to Philabundance, the area’s largest food bank, on Dec. 20 at its distribution warehouse on Galloway Street in South Philadelphia. The check presentation coincided with the bank’s employee volunteer efforts, which include unpacking and sorting food items, repacking and supporting the food distribution efforts of Philabundance’s partners in the community. Philabundance currently serves 135,000 people a week, up from 90,000 before the pandemic.
