42nd annual CultureFest – Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Penn Museum during a family-friendly festival designed for everyone to learn more about diverse cultural traditions. Live music and dance performances, storytelling, art-making for all ages and a marketplace filled with vendors. It culminates with a grand finale — a traditional Lion Dance.
Lunar New Year activities are included with Museum admission. Children ages 5 and under, teachers, U.S. military veterans with identification, as well as Penn Museum members visit for free.

Pea Soup Dinner – At 6 p.m. at the American Swedish Historical Museum, take part in the tradition of the annual Pea Soup Supper hosted by The Men’s Pea Soup Committee. Ärtsoppa is the traditional Thursday night supper in Sweden during the winter that dates to medieval times. Dinner is served with sharp Swedish cheese, bread, dessert and coffee.
