Revolution Remix is a special walking tour that lets you see Philadelphia in a whole new way, focusing on the stories of South Asian Americans. You’ll walk through familiar streets and visit well-known spots, but you’ll hear stories that are likely new to you, covering history from the 1780s to today.

The tour kicks off at the Liberty Bell and wraps up at Race Street Pier along the Delaware River. It’s led by SAADA’s Executive Director and features music from artists like Seti X, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Anju, Zain Alam, and Grammy-winner Arooj Aftab. The event is supported by the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.
Event Location
We’ll start the tour at the Liberty Bell, located at 526 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106, and end at Race Street Pier. This route gives you a mix of Philly’s history and modern vibes.
Event Price and Conditions
Tickets for the Revolution Remix tour are $50.00 for general admission and $35.00 for students. Please note that there are no refunds or options to switch to another date once you’ve purchased your ticket.
Event Time
The tour is scheduled for two Saturdays, September 21 and October 19, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM EDT. We’ll cover about 1.5 miles, with plenty of breaks to rest, a stop for a bathroom break, and water halfway through. The tour is wheelchair accessible, making sure everyone can join in.
