Come and celebrate Indigenous arts, cultures, and futures with us at the Seeds Philly 2024 – Saturday Powwow! This special event marks five years of the Seeds Philly festival, and we’re excited to bring you a weekend full of fun and community. Saturday’s Powwow will be filled with dancing, performances, art-making, and more, all happening at Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia.
Event Details
The Saturday Powwow is packed with activities from start to finish. The day begins with an art market featuring a variety of Indigenous artists. You can also join in on corn husk doll-making workshops, starting at noon. The Powwow kicks off with the Grand Entry of dancers at 12:00 PM, followed by hours of social dancing and live performances. Don’t miss the special performance by Canpatlaneci Danza Azteca del Anahuac from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Throughout the day, creative stations will be set up for hands-on activities, and you can explore artist booths showcasing everything from jewelry and beadwork to paintings and sculptures.

We’ll be gathering at Cherry Street Pier, located at 121 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106. It’s a beautiful spot by the river, perfect for a day of celebrating culture and community.
