In Tuesday’s men’s games of the South Philadelphia Bocce League, Rudi’s Formal Wear defeated Casa dei Pazzi, 12-6, and Pine Nuts, 12-6; Camilli Chiropractor beat Pine Nuts, 12-3, and Cacia’s Bakery, 12-5; Cacia’s took the win over Chef’s Market, 12-3; and Casa defeated Chef’s Market, 12-6. In last Thursday’s women’s games, Southern Auto defeated Mazza Bros., 12-10, and PFC, 12-11; City Pizza beat PFC, 12-2; and Mazza took the win over City Pizza, 12-9. Men’s games are played Tuesdays and women’s games are played Thursdays, 7:30 p.m., at Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets.
CAPITOLO PLAYGROUND
The Capitolo men’s softball league is accepting new teams for the 2004 season. Managers must call Louise, 215-685-1883, as soon as possible, as only a few openings remain. EOM BIDDY HOCKEY

GUERIN ACTIVITIES
Registration is being held for boys’ and girls’ indoor soccer for ages 12 and under at Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets. Registration also continues for boys’ basketball for ages 14 and under and 12 and under. The same fee applies.

The Hawthorne Cultural Center, 1200 Carpenter St., is seeking players and coaches for the Department of Recreation’s 12-and-under girls’ basketball league. Coaches and volunteers also are needed. YOUTH BASKETBALL
Several teams from local recreation centers and other groups had the rare experience of playing on the Wachovia Center court before the Sixers game last Wednesday. The 14-and-under girls from the Point Breeze Civic Association played the Belfield Rec team, while the 14-and-under boys’ squad from Vare Rec faced off against Pepper Playground. Boys from the 14-and-under teams at Murphy and Guerin recreation centers also competed.
