BOCCE LEAGUES
The South Philadelphia Men’s and Women’s Bocce Leagues play Tuesdays and Thursdays at Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets, starting 7:30 p.m. Last Thursday’s women’s games were canceled due to weather. In Tuesday’s men’s games, Maglio Sausage defeated Rudi’s Formal Wear, 12-6, and Casa dei Pazzi, 12-3; Casa beat Pine Nuts, 12-10; Pine Nuts took the win over Chef’s Market, 12-9; Rudi’s defeated Camilli Chiropractic, 12-6; and Chef’s beat Camilli, 12-8.

CYO ALL-STAR GAME
The 37th annual Catholic Youth Organization Region Six all-star boys’ basketball games are taking place tonight at Neumann-Goretti High, 10th and Moore streets. The junior-varsity contest (sixth-graders) starts at 6:30; the varsity game (eighth-graders) follows at 8.

DVYAA BASEBALL
DVYAA is holding registration for its spring baseball program weeknights from 6:30-8 and Saturdays, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Barry Playground, 18th and Johnston streets. Age groups are 5-7 (tee-ball), 8-9 (peewee), 10-12 (majors) and 13-15 (seniors). Call 215-568-1265 or visit www.eteamz.com/dvyaa.org.

EASTWICK REDSKINS FOOTBALL

EOM ATHLETICS

GUERIN BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets, is holding registration for its 13-and-under after-school basketball league. Games will be played at 4 and 5 p.m. starting March 24. The $20 registration fee is due at signup and includes a T-shirt, award and pizza party. Call Pete, 215-685-1894.

JOE FORTUNA BASEBALL
Registration for the spring baseball and tee-ball league is being held Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m., at Murphy Recreation Center, Third and Shunk streets. The fee, which includes uniforms, trophies and a banquet, is $35 for ages 4-7, $40 for 7-15 and $70 for 16-19.

KLOTZ COMING HOME
South Philadelphia High alum Red Klotz will return home next Sunday afternoon when his New York Nationals face the Harlem Globetrotters at the Wachovia Center. The games will be played at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Klotz, the head coach, owner and manager of the Nationals, has lost to the Globetrotters for the last 55 years.

LIFEGUARDS NEEDED
Herron Pool, Second and Reed streets, is among the local facilities that need lifeguards and pool-maintenance attendants. The city offers lifeguard training to individuals 16 and up and training for other pool jobs to those 18 and up. SABRES BASEBALL
Registration is being held Saturdays, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Sabres office, Seventh Street and Packer Avenue. The Sabres offer programs for boys and girls ages 4-19. The registration fee is $50 for tee-ball (ages 4-6) and $85 for ages 7-19. Call 215-462-4999 or 215-651-3411.

SEYAA SPORTS

SEYAA is accepting registration for its tee-ball/baseball programs on Tuesday and Friday evenings at Thomas Middle School, Ninth and Johnston streets, in the third-floor gym. Divisions are 4-6 (coed tee-ball), 7-8 (pitching machine), 8-10 and 10-12 (live pitch), and 13-15 and 16-19 (Babe Ruth baseball). Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

Softball registration also is underway for girls ages 10-12 Tuesday and Friday evenings at Thomas. The season will run from April 17-June 19. All games will be played Sundays at the SEYAA sports complex, Seventh and Bigler streets. Call 215-463-8802 or visit www.seyaa.com.

SHOT TOWER BASKETBALL
In the opener, the Celtics defeated the Nets 24-18. Joey Siperko, Tom Siperko and Steven Burnhart netted six points apiece for the winners, while Brian Edwards, Phil Mitchell and Stephen Kelhower hustled for the Nets with four points each. In the second game, the Sixers held off the Heat 22-20. Ken Bergman, Brighid Kelly and Christian Hick led the Sixers’ offense with four points each, while Dan Harkins led the Heat with six points.
