EOM BIDDY HOCKEY

Registration for biddy hockey at EOM, Front and Moore streets, for ages 3 to 7 is under way. The $30 fee includes five weeks of instruction, games, a trophy and a T-shirt. Games will be played Saturday mornings beginning Jan. 12. Call 215-971-1994 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.


FLYERS CARNIVAL

The Philadelphia Flyers, Phantoms and their wives will host the Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival Feb. 24 at the Wachovia Center.

A limited number of early admission tickets are available for $37 and includes admission from noon to 2 p.m. General admission tickets at $20 for adults and $15 for ages 2 to 12 with entry from 2 to 5 p.m. Both may be purchased at ComcastTIX.com or the Wachovia Box Office.

Over 30 years, the carnival has raised more than $20 million that went back into the community with a focus on nonprofits benefiting youth and medical enterprises.


FREE-THROW COMPETITION

The Knights of Columbus and Philadelphia Council 196 sponsor a youth free-throw championship for ages 10 to 14 from noon to 3 p.m. Jan. 12 at Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets, with registration taking place 11 a.m. that day. Proof of age is required along with written parental consent.

Winners progress through local, district and state competition.

SEYAA WINTER SPORTS

SEYAA is holding registrations for winter basketball and indoor soccer, which will both begin the week of Jan. 6. The age divisions are: 4 to 6 for biddy basketball; 7 to 8; 9 to 10; and 11 to 13. The indoor soccer program is for ages 4 to 7. Games will be played at Taggart School, Fifth and Porter streets. The fee for basketball is $40 and soccer is $20. WOMEN’S SEMI PRO BASKETBALL
