After falsely reporting at least two police shootings, a Point Breeze teen was charged with 15 counts of various offenses Monday.

Raquan Enty, of the 1800 block of Wharton Street, allegedly dialed 911 at 6:32 p.m. Nov. 30 and reported an officer’s injury at 20th and Morris streets for which seven officers and three supervisors responded, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detectives said. Officers then discovered the 18-year-old blocks from the supposed crime scene and deemed it an untrue claim.

It was determined the call as well as a similar call — at 7:28 p.m. Nov. 18 on the 2000 block of McKean Street — had come from his cell, Tolliver said. The phone was confiscated and Enty was taken to South Detectives, 2301 S. 24th St., for questioning where Enty is believed to have admitted to making the false reports.

When found guilty of making a false alarm to an agency of public safety Dec. 17, he was sentenced to two years on probation.

After obtaining search warrants for his phone and 911 records, Enty was arrested again Monday and charged with 15 counts of recklessly endangering another person, possession of an instrument of crime, false alarms and related offenses.
