Police are seeking a man who held up a Bella Vista paint store Monday afternoon.

At 12:25 p.m., a man entered Sherwin-Williams, 1001 Washington Ave., and lingered until two customers exited before pointing a black automatic 9mm or .40 caliber handgun at its assistant manager, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detectives said. The offender placed $360 in a black fanny pack he wore around his waist and shoved the worker inside a bathroom before fleeing east on Washington.

The suspect was described as black, age 30 to 40, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, 150 pounds and wearing a gray hoody with a front zipper, black pants, black sneakers, a blue and white checkered scarf, black and orange gloves, black sunglasses and a biker mask.
