D.V.Y.A.A. SPRING BASEBALL

Delaware Valley Youth Athletic Association is accepting registrations for its spring baseball season 6:30 to 8 p.m. weeknights and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at Barry Playground, 18th and Johnston streets. Age groups are: 5 to 7 (T-ball); 8 to 9 (peewee); 10 to 12 (majors); and 13 to 15 (senior). Call 215-468-1265.

EOM ANGLES BASEBALL CLUB

EOM baseball registration are taking place 7 p.m. Thursdays beginning Feb. 17 at EOM, Front and Moore streets. The age divisions are: 7 to 9 (pitching machine); 8 to 10 (travel); 12-and-under (travel and in-house); 13-and-under (travel); 13 to 15 (travel); and 14-and-under girls’ softball. EOM BASKETBALL

EOM, Front and Moore streets, is holding basketball registrations for its first-through-third-grade league. The $30 registration fee includes the five-week program starting on March 5 and a T-shirt. Call 215-271-1994 weekdays between 3 and 6 p.m.

MIXED SOFTBALL LEAGUE

The South Philadelphia mixed softball league is looking for teams to participate this season. Games are played Mondays through Fridays at F.D.R. Park, Broad Street and Pattison Avenue. League begins April 26. Call Vince Vitola, 267-254-4201.

MODELL’S COMMUNITY WEEKEND

Both local Modell’s Sporting Goods locations will participate in the company’s second annual community weekend starting 5 p.m. March 4. Last year, the event raised more than $600,000 for youth activity programs. From March 4 to 7, customers will receive a 10-percent discount off their purchase and may chose from a list of area sports programs to receive another 10 percent off depending on the purchase amount.

Customers shopping at 2465 S. 24th St. may chose among the City of Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department; Philadelphia PAL; Prep Charter High School, 1928 Point Breeze Ave.; South Philly Hurricanes; SEYAA; and St. Richard School, 1828 Pollock St., while patrons making purchases at 15 Snyder Ave. may choose Christopher Columbus Charter School, 916 Christian St. and 1242-46 S. 13th St.; Mentor Me Youth Football Camp; Philadelphia P.A.L.; SEYAA; or St. Richard School.

NEUMANN-GORETTI FUNDRAISER

The Neumann-Goretti girls’ basketball team is hosting a fundraiser for girls in grades fourth through eighth in the school gymnasium, 1736 S. 10th St., 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. SEYYAA SPRING SPORTS

Registration is being accepted for T-ball, baseball and girls softball. The season begins April 16. The age divisions for baseball are: 4 to 6 (T-ball); 7 to 8 (pitching machine); 8 to 10 and 10 to 12 (live pitch); 13 to 15 and 16 to 19 (Babe Ruth). The ages for girls’ softball 10 to 12 and 12 to 14. Register at the Taggart School gym, Fifth and Porter streets 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays or print a registration packet from seyaa.com.
