Two men broke into a Point Breeze home, demanding money and drugs from its occupants early Tuesday.

A 20-year-old was asleep on the couch when he awoke to screaming at 12:10 a.m., Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. His roommate of the same age was bleeding and two men, who had invaded the home on the 2000 block of Annin Street, were threatening them. The offenders searched the home for narcotics and cash. While they didn’t locate any drugs, they fled with $2,000, two cell phones, an Xbox 360 and Xbox games.

The injured man was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment to his head, Tolliver said.

The offenders were described as black, age 20, thin and wearing dark-colored clothing. One was 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11 while the other was 6 foot.
