A couple noticed a woman fleeing from their Pennsport home with both of their wallets Saturday.

The 40-year-old female was upstairs with her 45-year-old husband when they saw their side door was open at 2:15 p.m. Sept. 12 on the 2000 block of South Third Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Upon hearing a crashing noise, the woman spotted the burglar fleeing from the home in an unknown direction. By the time she went downstairs the female thief was gone with her wallet, containing ID, credit cards and $40, and her spouse’s wallet, containing ID and $40, which were on the kitchen counter.

The suspect was described as a white female, age 30, 5-foot-6, 150 pounds, having her hair in a ponytail and wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
