Law enforcement figures arrived on the 1200 block of East Passyunk Avenue at 2:10 a.m. Sunday and met two male complainants, who were suffering from head lacerations, the Police Public Affairs Unit said. Three New Jersey inhabitants allegedly confronted the victims over an issue with the amount of space they had to travel along the sidewalk, with witnesses saying they used their fists and the complainants’ bicycle locks to strike them before fleeing.

With the help of a Delaware River Port Authority supervisor who heard a description of the escape vehicle, police arrested Ryan Dorney, 25, of Franklinville, Christopher Eaton, 28, of Sewell, and Anthony Regalbuto, 24, of Clayton, at approximately 4 a.m. on the 3700 block of South Front Street and charged them with aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy and related offenses, the Police Public Affairs Unit said.

As of press time, Dorney was being held on $50,000 bail while Eaton and Regalbuto remained in custody on $25,000 bail. All three have a scheduled Nov. 19 preliminary hearing.

Authorities transported the complainants to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for the cuts and possible concussions, with their release coming later that day.
