Shortly after 8:45 a.m., authorities extracted the body of a white man from the body of water, having learned of its placement near the 3000 block of Penrose Avenue, Officer Tanya Little of Police Public Affairs said. Officials had not released the identity of the deceased figure as of press time and are investigating the cause of death.
