Authorities are hoping to collar the party guilty of shooting a man in Point Breeze.
At 6:16 p.m. Sunday, police ventured to the 2000 block of Mountain Street for a report of gunshots, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Witnesses flagged them down in front of Ulloa Mini Food Market, 1701 S. 20th St., and outside the establishment, they observed the complainant suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach.
A medic unit transported him to Presbyterian Hospital, where he underwent surgery, with personnel listing him as critical but stable. He could not provide any information on the responsible party.
