Authorities are looking for a woman who sprayed a cab driver with an unknown substance in Queen Village.

The complainant was operating his vehicle in the area of Fifth and Lombard streets at 6:48 p.m. March 19 when he stopped to drop off a fare, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The female passenger refused to pay, with the motorist threatening to call authorities.

The woman paid the fare, but as she exited the ride, she sprayed him with the aforementioned foreign material, fled the area and raced southbound on Fifth Street toward South Street. The victim received transport to Pennsylvania Hospital, where personnel treated and released him. He described the attacker as black and 18 to 21 years old; having a medium build; and wearing a black coat and medical boot on her right foot.
