At approximately 11:24 a.m. June 14, police responded to a radio call for a fight on the highway on the 2700 block of Jackson Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Meeting with the complainant, they learned she had become involved in an altercation with another woman and that during the incident, the reported aggressor attempted to apply a Taser to her pregnant belly, ultimately placing it on her left ear.
Following identification from the victim, law enforcement officials detained Tishae Belcher, of the 2700 block of Wolf Street, and charged her with possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and making terroristic threats. The 20-year-old posted her $5,000 bail and awaits a July 16 status hearing.
