Police desire to detain two men who assaulted and robbed a male on Friday.
At 10:20 p.m., the complainant, while waiting for his food outside New Happy Garden, 2226 S. Seventh St., when two unknown black individuals approached him, with the first demanding his money while pointing a gun at him, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. After delivering one blow to his victim after a moment of noncompliance, the lead aggressor took his LG Cricket cell phone, with the criminals fleeing on foot by heading northbound on Seventh Street. Thomas Jefferson University Hospital personnel treated the man for a facial laceration and swelling.
