The Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit issued details on two South Philly-situated matters.

The initial one occurred at 9:30 p.m. July 19 on the 700 block of Morris Street, with the complainant stating that while she was walking along the highway, an unknown Hispanic man approached her, offered her money in exchange for “services” and groped her when she refused his advances. She described him as having short black hair; wearing a black shirt and black sweatpants; and possessing a bike. Thirty minutes later, on the 200 block of Morris Street, a black male approached a woman from behind, struck her on the head, and sexually assaulted her. She described him as being tall; having little hair; and donning black sunglasses.
