A driver ended up assaulted in Grays Ferry.
The Uncle Oogie’s employee drove to the 1500 block of South Stanley Street at 5:40 p.m. Nov. 6 and met with the orderer, who said his money was in his home, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. A second male approached her vehicle, leading the driver to try to shut it off, but the first suspect snatched the food and tried to retreat to a residence.
The complainant grabbed the fleeing figure, but he replied with punches and hair pulls and escaped into the home. She described the offenders as black, with the first being 17 to 22 years old and 5-foot-10 to 6 foot; having a dark complexion, a heavy build, and a short afro; and wearing a T-shirt and jeans; and the second as black, 17 to 22 years old, and 5-foot-10 to 6 foot; having a dark complexion and a thin build; and wearing a gray hoodie with white strings, and white and dark pajama pants over gray sweatpants.
