It’s the scouts’ honor

With the weather getting colder and the holidays approaching, this is a critical time of year to make sure local food pantries and other agencies have stocked shelves. With the generosity of the community and the hard work and dedication of the Boy Scout Troop 147 extended family, the group is able to collect, sort, and process between 3,000 and 6,000 canned goods annually. Troop 147 will be picking up bags distributed a week ago on Saturday. Collecting, sorting, and processing for Philabundance, 3616 S. Galloway St., will take place at the Trinity Church Cemetery, 18th and Wolf streets. For more information, visit facebook.com/phillytroop147 or 147bsa.org.
