At approximately 7 p.m. Monday, police met with the complainant at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and learned he had exited a SEPTA bus at Front and Tasker streets at 10:30 p.m. the previous night when unknown males engaged him in a verbal altercation, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. One figure struck him in the face, leading to his jaw becoming fractured.
A detailed description of the suspect was not available at press time.
