Rudolph Wilkerson, of the 1600 block of Sixth Street, was gunned down with a single shot to the head at 12:29 a.m. on the unit block of Wolf Street, Officer Jill Russell of the Police Public Affairs Unit said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene 22 minutes later, Russell said.
The police had no motive and made no arrests as of press time.
