With Thanksgiving approaching, area residents felt it was time to give thanks to those who protect their neighborhood.
Nick and Theresa Selvaggi with the help of Vince Ricchiuti and Paul Rossi of Girard Estate Neighborhood Association will hold the 1st District Appreciation Day noon today at district headquarters, 24th and Wolf streets. At about 2:45 p.m., Captain Lou Campione will receive a plaque as a token of appreciation. SPR
