After delivering an order to a Lower Moyamensing home, a pizza deliveryman was robbed of his cell phone and cash Tuesday.

A 28-year-old employee of Uncle Oogie’s Pizzeria, 2119 Oregon Ave., transported food to the 2600 block of South Watts Street at 10:05 p.m., Sgt. Gwen Bartlett of South Detective Division said. On his way back to his vehicle, two men demanded his phone and money while one of the men showed him a black gun.

He handed over the requested items that included $200 and the duo fled north on Watts and east on West Moyamensing Avenue, Bartlett said. The deliveryman was unharmed.

The armed man was described as black with a dark complexion, age 18, 5-foot-8, thin and wearing a dark-colored puffy coat with a fur hood trim while his accomplice was described as black, in his 20s, 6 foot, with a medium to heavy build and wearing a dark-colored jacket.
