A privately-owned, pay-per-month Queen Village parking lot security booth was vandalized as were at least four of the cars parked on its property.

An unknown person vandalized a Philly Park LLC parking lot, 706 S. Third St., breaking a window of the locked security booth and taking a few car keys, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.

Four car owners have come forward with reports of vandalism and/or missing items from their vehicles, Tolilver said. A 24-year-old woman reported a GPS unit and iPod valuing $350 taken from her 2003 black Acura RSX. Three pairs of sunglasses valued at $400 were stolen from a 24-year-old woman’s ’09 white Lexus. A $600 camera was snatched from a 42-year-old man’s ’06 silver Toyota 4Runner. Nothing was stolen from a 26-year-old woman’s ’10 blue Toyota Camry, although it was ransacked.
