A woman was robbed at gunpoint on the border street between Passyunk Square and Lower Moyamensing last week.

A man ordered a 21-year-old lady to give him money as he uncovered the handle of a black automatic handgun from under his shirt on the 1300 block of Snyder Avenue at 9:20 p.m. April 17, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.

She handed over $10 and her wallet. After looking at it, the robber said, “If I find out that you are lying, I will kill you.” She handed over an additional $13, Tolliver said. The thief fled in an unknown direction.

The offender was described as black, age 23 to 27, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, athletic build, short hair, facial hair and wearing a black hoody and blue jeans.
