Two men mugged a duo at gunpoint in Queen Village last week.

A 22- and 24-year-old were strolling along the 700 block of South Fifth Street at 1:15 a.m. Aug. 3 when a man screamed behind them, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Another man crossed the street and pointed a shotgun at the pair and ordered them to the ground. The first male grabbed the older man’s wallet and cell while the gun-wielding offender grabbed the other’s wallet and told both men to stay put as they fled north on Fifth Street.

The armed offender was described as black; in his early 20s; 5-foot-8; thin; with a goatee and hair styled in two chin-length pigtails; and wearing a black T-shirt, and dark blue jeans. The other perpetrator was described as black, in his early 20s, 5-foot-8 to 6 foot, thin, with dreads and wearing a white tank top and jeans.
