A North Philly quartet has allegedly robbed cell phone, food, shoe and convenience stores throughout North, Southwest and South Philly taking more than $10,500, sneakers and cigarettes.

A pair was caught after robbing a Southwest Philly Rite Aid Oct. 22 and police investigation led to the arrest of two others involved in the string of holdups that included robbing three businesses twice, according to the Police Public Affairs Unit.

In South Philly, Jackson Doggette, 21, allegedly placed a black semi-automatic pistol on the counter at Rite Aid, 801 S. Broad St., while Marvin Gibson, 38, stood as lookout, according to police. The duo allegedly demanded cash from the register and the safe located behind the register and fled west on Christian Street with $2,230

The pair along with Anwar Mitchell, 19, and a 17-year-old male were charged with a varying number, but multiple counts of robbery and related charges.

Doggette was charged with 14 counts of robbery; 13 counts of possession of an instrument of crime, carrying a firearm in public and not having a license to carry a firearm; 12 counts of theft and receiving stolen property; 11 counts of conspiracy of robbery; 10 counts of simple assault; nine counts of recklessly endangering another person; two counts of unlawful restraint, terroristic threats and false imprisonment; and one count of criminal attempted theft, criminal attempted receiving stolen property, conspiracy of aggravated assault and aggravated assault.

Gibson was charged with 11 counts of robbery, possession of an instrument of crime, carrying a firearm in public and not having a license to carry a firearm; 10 counts of conspiracy of robbery, theft and receiving stolen property; nine counts of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person; and one count of criminal attempted theft, conspiracy of aggravated assault and aggravated assault.
