A group of men looked through a man’s pockets in South of South.

A man crossed the street to meet a 26-year-old, who was traveling westbound on the 1900 block of Fitzwater Street at 7:50 p.m. Nov. 2, Detective Tamika Selden of South Detective Division said. The man pointed a gun at him, told him to turn around and face the fence and went through his pockets. He heard more than that man speaking behind him, and when the men tried to open his backpack, he turned around and saw four males who fled west on Fitzwater Street with a cell phone and keys.

The initial man was described as black with a light complexion, 5-foot-7, thin; having a shaved head; and wearing blue jeans and a black checkered jacket.
