Merriment mattered most Saturday at Universal Audenried Charter High School, 3301 Tasker St., as revelers united for Kwanzaabration, a festival promoting the seven-day examination of cultural integrity among African Americans. The seven-hour event, which coincided with the cycle’s homage to the principle Ujima, or Collective Work and Responsibility, included health screenings, arts and crafts, a Zumba class, a fashion show and multiple song and dance acts.
