To the Editor:
On behalf of the parishioners of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Lowe’s on Columbus Boulevard. Its team of dedicated volunteers spent an entire day beautifying our spacious grounds.
Personnel incorporated lovely bird baths as well as benches on the Winton Street area. Decorative stone paths were inserted together with a delightful assortment of begonias and zinnias. The statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is enclosed in a small shrine. The entrance along Jackson Street was tendered with similar care while magnificent arrangements of flowers were placed near the crucifix. An array of annuals and perennials were planted with loving care near the “Welcome Sign.” And, in honor of the Blessed Mother, a stone garden was created near the statues. Our church’s grounds have truly been transformed! We invite everyone to visit and share in our excitement.
Many thanks to the entire Lowe’s organization for providing a generous community service. Your efforts were greatly appreciated!
