Two males robbed a man in Grays Ferry on Friday.
At 1:38 a.m., the complainant flagged down police officers, telling them the unknown figures had robbed him on the 2700 block of Tasker Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. He went on to say he had been walking on the block when they grabbed him from behind and shouted “Give it up.”
He parted with $40 when one offender held him by the arms and the other went into his pockets. The duo fled westbound on Tasker Street. The victim described both as black, with the primary aggressor being 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-10 and 150 to pounds; and wearing a black Under Armour hoodie. A detailed description of the second offender was not available as of press time.
