Authorities arrested a Point Breeze man for an alleged theft in South of South.

On June 18, the Philadelphia Police Department announced the May 15 arrest of Raymond Anthony Hepburn. Law enforcement officials had been seeking the 45-year-old since March 30, when he supposedly fled from a business on the 1600 block of South Street with a blue bag, a laptop computer and tablets.

On April 23, 17th District officers said they observed Hepburn on the 2000 block of Dickinson Street after viewing the footage. They obtained further identifying features upon doing so and obtained a warrant on May 15. They arrested him at his residence on the 1500 block of South Lambert Street and had him charged with theft and receiving stolen property. Authorities released him on his own recognizance, and he awaits a June 30 preliminary hearing.
