Authorities are after two men who robbed and assaulted a male in Dickinson Square West.

At midnight Friday, the complainant stood on the corner of Fifth and Dickinson streets, texting someone who had indicated a desire to purchase an iPhone 6 he had placed on Facebook for sale, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Two unknown individuals immediately attacked him, striking him in the face with an unknown blunt object before fleeing the area, with the first heading on Greenwich Street and the other escaping on Fourth and Dickinson streets.

The victim reported that the thieves took his gold Samsung S6 Edge, a white and gray iPhone 6, and a Bank of America card. He sustained several scratches to his face, hands, and knees but did not require immediate medical treatment. He described the first attacker as white, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-3, and 140 to 150 pounds; having black hair; being clean shaven; wearing a black hoodie; and armed with the aforementioned object; and the second as white and 5-foot-3; and wearing a gray hoodie.
