Shirts convey hurts: Following its May 25 noon Mass, the National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia, 1166 S. Broad St., joined with Heeding God’s Call, an organization with which it has worked since the latter’s 2008 inception, to pay tribute to those lost to gun violence by dedicating a temporary memorial. The mobile acknowledgment will be on view for perhaps another week as part of the campaign to curb the sale of illegal guns. ■
