Police after hoping to capture the perpetrator in a Newbold burglary.
Authorities responded to Sunshine Grocery Store, 1436 Snyder Ave., at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 28, meeting with the business owner, who told them someone had broken a pane of glass from the rear door, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The offender took between $300 and $400, assorted scratch-off lottery tickets, and packs of assorted cigarettes. Surveillance footage showed the suspect to be a male of an undetermined race who wore an Under Armour hoody with a logo on top, a ski mask and gloves.
