A man is at large after committing a Black Friday heist in Pennsport.
At approximately 7:40 p.m. Nov. 25, the offender entered 7–11, 847 S. Eighth St., threw a black trash bag onto the counter, pulled a large kitchen knife from his waistband, and demanded cash, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. An employee complied, but the aggressor wanted more and grabbed at the register. When unable to obtain additional dough, he fled southbound on Second Street toward Washington Avenue.
The worker described him as black, 55 to 60 years old, 200 to 220 pounds, and 6 foot; having a light brown complexion, nappy facial hair, a pointy nose, and large lips; and wearing a black jacket over a gray hoody, gray sweatpants, and a brown hat.
