Authorities arrested a Grays Ferry man for supposedly committing two commercial robberies in his neighborhood.
On Dec. 1, the Philadelphia Police Department announced the detainment of Brandon Crawford, of the 1400 block of South Etting Street. Six days prior, a 17th District officer busted the 28-year-old in conjunction with June 6 and Nov. 2 robberies of Rite Aid, 3000 Reed St., with the law enforcement figure collaring him on the 2500 block of Tasker Street after having determined he matched the description of the at-large offender. He awaits a Dec. 13 preliminary hearing.
