A man made off with approximately $3,000 in a Marconi-situated theft.
The suspect entered ACME Market, 1901 Johnston St., at 7:45 p.m. Dec. 4 and made his way behind the customer service counter, removing the aforementioned amount from a drawer. He used a light-colored vehicle with a dark left front fender to speed first through the parking lot and then west on Oregon Avenue.
