South Philly-based Earlie Bird Productions (EBP) presents the original work Mother/Daughter at Philly PACK, located at 233 Federal Street, as part of the FringeArts festival.

The production is an exploration of the relationships between mothers and daughters through themes of identity, work, culture, fertility and loss. The production will feature Philadelphia theatre talent across the age spectrum and will be appropriate for teenage viewers as well as adults.

Mother/Daughter continues EBP’s exploration of womanhood picking up where sold-out productions of The Vagina Monologues and the original piece V2:Creation Myth left off.

The Fringe debut marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership among EBP, photographer Joanna Nowak and audio-documentarian Hillary Rea who will revisit and reconsider the themes of the show for an interdisciplinary production in February 2019.

The show runs Sept. 15 at 8pm and Sept.16 at 2 p.m. with a talk back session.
