Suspect wanted for robbery in 3rd District

Police are looking for a suspect who attacked an employee and stole a cell phone from the Boost Mobile store at 2031 South Broad Street on Sept. 16 at  approximately 1:40 p.m., police said. The incident was captured on surveillance video.

According to police, the suspect was inside the store and demanded an item for free. When the employee refused, the suspect attacked the employee and took the employee’s cell phone, police said. The suspect then fled into the subway at Broad Street & Snyder Avenue. When the suspect realized that the victim was following behind him, he attacked the victim a second time, police said.
