18-year-old stabbed at Smith Playground

A teenager was stabbed at Smith Playground at 25th Street and Snyder Avenue at approximately 7:07 p.m. on Wednesday night, police said.

Police said, according to witnesses’ account, the 18-year-old white male was attempting to rob people at the playground when he was stabbed ten times in the back by an unknown person.

The victim was transported to Presbyterian Hospital and was listed in stable condition, police said.
