Police: Prudential Bank robbed by suspect 4 times

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Philadelphia Police Department’s Violent Crimes Task Force is looking for a man they believe robbed a South Philly bank four times since Jan. 4.

According to police, the suspect, described as a 5-foot-5 black male wearing a black hooded jacket, black ski hat, black pants, black shoes, and a blue face mask robbed the Prudential Bank at 1722. S. Broad Street.

He is believed to be responsible for four robberies that took place on Jan. 4, Jan. 18, Jan. 28 and Feb. 9, officials said.

The subject is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information about the robberies or the suspect is asked to call the FBI/PPD Violent Crimes Task Force at 215-418-4000 or go to tips.fbi.gov. A reward is being offered for information leading to this subject’s capture.
