Read the Revolution Speaker Series – From 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Museum of the American Revolution, historian and author Dr. Kari J. Winter will discuss the memoir of Jeffrey Brace, an enslaved man who won his freedom through service during the Revolutionary War, before being joined by Brace descendant and family historian, Rhonda Brace.

Trinity Irish Dance Company – at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Hard-driving percussive power, lightning-fast agility and aerial grace as this troupe fuses Ireland’s vibrant tradition and legacy with ever-evolving, American innovation. Curtis Symphony Orchestra – at 8 p.m. at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the Curtis Symphony Orchestra returns to the stage for the first time since February 2020 with Strings, Symphonies and Strauss, led by Peter Oundjian, conductor emeritus of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, for in-person audiences. Beginnings – The Ultimate Chicago Tribute Band – at 9 p.m., Beginnings is a tribute to America’s favorite “Rock and Roll Band with Horns,” Chicago. Philadelphia Auto Show – at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 500,000-plus square feet of automotive awesomeness displayed across the convention center floor, showcasing some of today’s leading vehicle manufacturers, fan-favorite experiences and exotics, and new features – something for everyone. Spring Fever Train Show and Sale – From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Penns Landing Caterers, 1301 S. Columbus Blvd. Visit 140 tables with a variety of vintage toy trains and repair parts for sale, test track, operating toy train layouts, kids activities, and door prizes for adults and children.
