Social Justice Symposium for Teens – At 11 a.m. at the Philadelphia City Institute, 1905 Locust St., teens age 12-19 who are passionate about social justice and interested in learning and discussing gun violence, media polarization and income inequality. Happy Hour at Magic Gardens – From 5-8 p.m. at Magic Gardens, 1020 South St., the last crafting happy hour of the year. Treats from Ramona Susan’s Bake Shop to go along with usual soft pretzels and fresh popcorn. Craft tables will make colorful wooden alebrijes (fantastical creatures) and lasagna mosaics, and guests can also try out “tile bingo” game or scavenger hunt. Music by BridgeSet Sound. Train Show – The Train Collectors Association Atlantic Division will hold its Fall Train Show and Sale from 9 to 1 p.m. at Penns Landing Caterers, 1301 S. Columbus Blvd. There will be 140 tables with a variety of vintage toy trains and repair parts for sale, test track, operating toy train layouts, kids activities and door prizes for adults and children.
