Chick-fil-A set to open on Penrose Ave; workers wanted

A new Chick-fil-A restaurant in South Philadelphia is looking to hire 150 part-time and full-time workers as it prepares to open its doors to customers.

Chick-fil-A Penrose (Platt Bridge), located at 2650 Penrose Ave. in South Philly, is set to open in the coming months, according to officials. It will join the Columbus Commons location (2204 S. Columbus Blvd.) as the second Chick-fil-A restaurant to operate in South Philly.

The country’s largest fast food chain specializing in chicken sandwiches will look to fill its staff at its new location. The roles span from a variety of positions including back-of-house, front-of-house and leadership. Applicants interested can text “APPLY” to 215-910-4245. The application process is now open.
