A super productive life
It was awe-inspiring to read Tom Waring’s comprehensive report on the life and accomplishments of recently departed columnist Tom Cardella (“Remembering Tom Cardella,” June 28). Talk about a super productive life!
It was especially impressive to read how Cardella spent most of his life working as a columnist for the South Philly Review, even as he juggled other professions like sports broadcasting. And all while becoming a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Tom Cardella left a huge legacy of great memories, especially a collection of newspaper columns over 58 years. It is actually a challenge to list all his honors and achievements in a variety of fields.
Special thanks to Tom Waring for publishing this sincere and all-inclusive tribute to a loving family man and talented communicator.
